You innately know your health is about more than just “food”. However, we need to look at what kind of “water” we are drinking and what kind of “food” we are feeding our bodies. Unfortunately, today our waters are polluted! What does water do for us? It carries information through our bodies, therefore we need clean water. Our food chain lacks nutrition and food is "information" for our bodies to regenerate our organs and systems but not just any food will create dynamic health.
Where do we begin?
We begin with education and empowering individuals to take responsibility for their own health, environment and relationships through a holistic, science-based approach.
ABOUT Diane....Raised in the Maritimes on Canada’s eastern seaboard, Diane was exposed to hard work and homegrown, prepared meals. Her Nana worked hard preparing healthy and nutritious meals to keep Papa’s men in the lumber business, healthy. Today, Diane considers her-self a non-traditional nutritionist. She believes, what you eat becomes not just part of your body, but part of your emotions, and part of your thoughts. Her practice supports this belief-that how we approach our lives, is how we eat and how we eat is how we approach our lives.
This passion for understanding the many elements of nutrition began with her son, who had a constant allergy problem and was put on, 3 prescription drugs, at the age of four. After much researching, and educating on many wonderful diets and constantly being successful in applying what she learned to her family’s health, driven to an endless desire for more learning and experimentation.
At the age of 43, she was diagnosed, with Lupus, bringing a new sense of urgency to her quest for knowledge. Within 6 months of that diagnosis, she became pregnant with her fifth child. After being blessed with healing from Lupus and birthing a healthy boy, she knew there was more to learn about the self healing potential of these magnificent bodies.
Diane received her national certification through the Nutritional Therapy Association in Washington, and became licensed through the Pastoral Medical Association. Continuing her studies under Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, she received her selective certification as a GAPS (gut and psychology) Practitioner. She has studied the science of applying the Avazzia Technology of Electrophysiology and is currently working on her Board Certification in Biofeedback. Diane is a founding member of the BonRich Academy of Applied Electrophysiology. Additionally she is enrolled with the Unified Medicine Institute while in parallel working on her board certification with the Academy of Drugless Practitioners.
Entering private practice in 2012, her passion is to provide an open, non-judgemental space for her clients to explore “self” in the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects. Encouraging a paradigm shift from diagnosis and treatment to disease prevention via helping her clients connect with their bodies and understand that their symptoms are really just the body's cry for “help”! She believes that dis-ease in the body is only a “cry for help” and an illness does not mean the body is broken. Diane believes that if we trust in this innate biological process of the body wanting to return to a state of health and well being, by shifting the approach to your life where mind, body and spirit are all nurtured and strengthened.
